Local romance author to visit Chapters Bookshop

Chapters Bookshop is hosting Zoe M. McCarthy, local author of inspirational contemporary romances, Gift of the Magpie and Calculated Risk, noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30.

Chapters Bookshop is located at 101 E. Grayson Street in Galax.

McCarthy will be signing books, which will be available for purchase.

A full-time writer and speaker, McCarthy writes contemporary inspirational romances involving tenderness and humor. Believing opposites distract, McCarthy creates heroes and heroines who learn to embrace their differences.

When she’s not writing, McCarthy enjoys her five grandchildren, teaching Bible studies, leading workshops on writing, knitting and crocheting shawls for a prayer shawl ministry, and canoeing.
